Profile of the kindergartens

After much success with the girl's elementary school, the parents requested the opening of kindergarten classes.

The parents weren't satisfied with the simple request so they also assembled a registration list that they brought to the Rabbi Ben David. With this list, the official registration was opened for the kindergarten of Ohr HaEmet. Today there are 350 children divided into 12 kindergarten an preschool classes for boys and girls.

The Kindergarten Staff

The staff consists of licensed teachers-residents of Elad. Also, most of the teachers' assistants have much experience in the education field. The staff is young and dynamic with much ambitions of success.

The Administration

The administrator who was appointed to run the kindergartens is very personable with much experience in administration. Similarly, the supervisor for the kindergarten has over 20 years experience in kindergarten supervision.

The administration and supervisor help the teachers cope with every difficulty that arises.

Acquiring Reading Skills

To ease the reading skill of the boys, a special teacher who has 25 years of experience was hired to give person help to each child according to his progress.

Budget

The price of the kindergarten equipment totaled 70,000 NIS and the local council's monetary participation is much less. In order to give the optimum toward the children's education, we need to buy more didactic equipment, more toys for indoors and outdoors. Understandably, the overflow cost falls on the shoulders of Rabbi Ben David.

Current budget

The budget received from the government in addition to the tuition paid by parents is enough to only cover the teachers' salaries. The cost of administration, supervisors, accounting, the reading teacher and more aren't covered by this budget.

The se expenses add up to 15,000 NIS a month.

Rabbi Ben David does not allow any shortcuts in order to take away from the need's of the children.

Employment

In the kindergartens are employed 13 staff members who are mostly area residents.
