Profile of the Talmud Torah

With the completion of the first kindergarten year the elementary school was opened which was a natural continuation for the kindergarten graduates. The goal of the elementary school (Cheder) is to mold the personalities of the students into bnei Torah and to teach them to love and enjoy their learning. All this is accomplished with individual care in a positive and warm atmosphere. The Cheder started with 20 students and as of the present numbers 240 students between the ages of 6-10 divided into 9 classes -kindergarten through 4 th grade. Each year two new classes will open of 60 students from the kindergarten graduates.

The Rabbinical Staff

The Rabbinical staff consists of graduates from Yeshivot that see from the importance of the education of Jewish children in Torah and fear of Hashem through love. All of the Rabbis have many years experience in their field and hold certificates of education and are qualified to work in this holy work in professional manner.

The staff has high motives to endow to the children the desire and love of learning and do this in the tradition of our teacher, Rabbi Ben David, shlit"a through love and dedication.

The staff is trained to instill these tools and values according to Jewish heritage.

Administration and Supervisors

The administrator who was chosen has served for many years in an educational role of teaching and supervisor in well known Talmud Torah schools who is personable and radiates discipline through love and devotion.

Likewise, there is constant supervision on the progress of the students in all areas.

The Budget

Rabbi Ben David the president of the institutions has a very important objective which is part of his unique views which is to endow in the students the love of Torah and the desire to behave correctly even after school hours. The refore, we have created a social atmosphere in our school through enjoyable activities, educational campaigns that offer prizes and other creative learning challenges. Projects such as these demand a strong budget that isn't given through any official body.

Likewise, substantial investment was put into properly equipping the classrooms and also in the expansive yard.

We will not spare any detail that will enable and help the progress of the students even when the money is not conveniently available.

Afternoon Activities

Many of the parents learn or work late in the afternoon so the school continues to run until 4:00 and serves hot and nutritious meals to every student.
