The "Ohr Zaru'ah" institutions work tirelessly on behalf of the Kehillah and its members, one of its important achievements being the founding of the "Ezer Layoledet" organization. The women of "Ohr Zaru'ah" initiated its founding, and they are responsible for the management of its round-the-clock activities. The organization numbers 120 members who devote themselves to assisting new mothers in various ways.

The "Ezer Layoledet" organization supplies home-made meals to the new mother and her family for ten days, and provides a steady supply of babysitters who lend a hand duing this crucial time. Many of the babysitters are themselves mothers of small children, who dedicate their spare time for this special cause.
